Tomaru, developed by 8bit Code LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we (do not) collect, how we handle it, and your rights as a user.

Information We Collect

Crash Reports: We do not collect personal information. The only data we may receive are anonymous crash reports provided automatically by Apple through App Store Connect. These reports help us identify and fix issues in the app.
In-App Purchases: Purchases of Tomaru Pro are handled securely through Apple’s App Store. We do not have access to your payment details.

We do not collect:

Personal details such as your name, email, or phone number
Location data
Usage analytics
Tracking data
Third-party advertising identifiers

How We Use Information

The limited crash log data provided by Apple is used only to improve app stability and performance. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only information processed is through Apple’s systems (App Store and crash reporting).

Your Rights

If you are a California resident (CCPA) or live in a region with similar privacy laws, you have the right to:

Know what data is collected (as outlined above)
Request deletion of any data we may directly control (though we generally do not collect personal data)

Since Apple controls crash reporting and payment systems, requests related to those should be directed to Apple.

Children’s Privacy

Tomaru does not knowingly collect or store any personal data from children under 13.

Future Platforms

Tomaru is currently available on iOS. If released on Android, crash reporting will similarly rely on Google Play’s built-in crash reporting. This Privacy Policy will be updated if that changes.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version will always be available in the app and on our website.
